My name is Kim Busby and I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland with my partner Ryan, springer spaniel Molly and baby Corey. Drawing is my passion and I have been fascinated with art since I was a little girl. My grandfather was an architect and an incredible portrait artist, and I am told that I picked up my talent from him.

I studied Art & Design at GCSE and A-Level at school, and have been sketching and drawing ever since. I will often be found with a pencil or pen in my hand, drawing anything in front of me!

I love capturing the character of the subject that I draw, and find that I develop a special relationship with them in the process. It is as important to me as it is to you, that the portrait is a true likeness of your loved one. That’s what makes the work unique and special.
