My name is Kim Busby and drawing is my passion! As such, I have been fascinated with art since I was a little girl. My grandfather was an architect and an incredible portrait artist, and I am told that I picked up my talent from him.

I studied Art & Design at GCSE and A-Level at school, and have been sketching and drawing ever since. I will often be found with a pencil or pen in my hand, drawing anything in front of me.

I love capturing the character of the subject that I draw, and find that I develop a special relationship with them in the process. The thing that I am complemented on most is my ability to achieve a perfect likeness of the subject. I would never send a portrait that I wasn't happy with; anyone who knows me personally, knows how fussy I am! That’s what makes the work unique and special.
